The Kopervik Group consists of about 20 companies – all connected to owning or managing vessels in the short sea market. We are proud to say that we are the first and still the only ISO14001 certified group of shipping companies with smaller general cargo vessels. Through an environmental certification we hope to show our customers and partners that we take our corporate responsibility seriously.

Certificate for a good environment

From the first vessel – MV FRIBORG – the shipping company has grown steadily. The Kopervik Group has today 11 vessels ranging from 1500 up to 3500 mts dwcc. They are dry bulk general cargo vessels carrying anything like fishmeal, grain, malt, metals, minerals, split etc.

The vessels trade all Europe – all seas stretching from Iceland, Scandinavia, Baltic Sea, Great Britain, Ireland, continental Europe, Mediterranean, Black Sea and down to the Canary Isles.
